Struck with a special satin finish and issued in uncirculated mint sets.

Obverse: A one-year type for the new Jefferson obverse with portrait facing right from the left periphery. IN GOD WE TRUST and 2005 appear on the right periphery with the word Liberty in script across the right middle by Jefferson's mouth.

Reverse: The reverse depicts a representation of Clark’s journal entry upon spotting what he thought was the Pacific Ocean (in actuality, they were still approximately 20 miles from the coast).
