£1,815 sterling Certificates were authorized by the Mar. 6, 1766 Act for encouraging settlers and rebuilding of the Savannah Court House. Typset and printed in red and black. These were receivable for taxes until Mar. 1, 1771 and invalid thereafter. Signers were Grey Elliott, William Ewen, Noble Jones, John Smith, and Alexander Wylly. There were five signers on each certificate.
