The 1904-O Morgan dollar from the GSA Hoard is much scarcer than virtually any of the Carson City Mint dollars, which were generally offered in the Great Silver Sale of the 1970s and early 1980s in huge numbers. The 1904-O Morgan dollar is known in hard packs and soft packs and encountered in circulated or uncirculated condition. GSA examples of any type are highly sought after by collectors, and most especially Morgan dollar enthusiasts who are specifically pursuing building sets of GSA dollars. PLs and DMPLs, when available, take huge premiums.

Obverse Description

Portrait of Liberty centered. On the left are found 7 stars with the words E*PLURIBUS*UNUM followed by 6 stars on the right. The date is positioned at the bottom.

Reverse Description
