Obverse Description
Large 8's, first 8 recut OBV. 5. S1LE, S7UE-JCHb, S8C, S13B. Stars are medium large with points close to milling. Date has large 8's similar to No. 101 but a different 2 with a square base and knobbed top. Figures are very close and low, width is 8 ¼ mm. and first 8 is recut inside loops, probably over a small 8. Small engraving tool mark ¼ mm. long from drapery at right breast. Triangular die defect between breasts.
Reverse Description
Lines of stripes 2 through 6 show below shield REV. G. A1LH, A2C, A3LH. 50 C. is 1 ¾ mm. and high. A-A is ½ mm. Right sides of T-I in line. Late die state has a crack from TES through ERICA to arrowheads to 50. (65,65,64,64,64) R.3
