Obverse Description
1824 over 1 OBV. 1. The over-date is not easily distinguished in this later marriage, especially on worn specimens.
Reverse Description
Large wide 50 C. is 2 ¾ mm REV. B. A1UH, A2UH, A3C. 50 C. is large and widely spaced 2 ¾ mm. A-A nearly touch. Right sides of T-I in line. Center dot on crossbar 4 but mostly between 3 and 4. Letters of legend all well separated. Small die dot between scroll and eagles head under U. This reverse was first used in 1823. (See O.113) (58,58,55,50,45) R.5
