Greysheet & Red Book® PRICE GUIDE
As a result of Finnish War of 1808 - 1809, the eastern third of Sweden was ceded to Russia and was established on 29 March 1809 as the Grand Duchy of Finland. It was granted a certain amount of autonomy. Swedish banknotes continued nevertheless to circulate until 1848, despite an official Russian prohibition.
