Details

Obverse: On the alpaca (also known as German silver) center, the national coat of arms with the eagle facing left, its feathers resembling plates of armor. On the bronze-aluminum outer ring, the legend ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS above, with a half-wreath of oak and laurel below.

Reverse: On the alpaca center, the innermost design on the Aztec Calendar Stone, with Tonatiuh in the middle. On the outer ring, the denomination $10 at the top and DIEZ PESOS at the bottom, with the year at upper left and the mintmark M at upper right.
