The 1950-S Lincoln cent is an extremely common coin in circulated grades and is widely available in Gem grades through MS66. Examples are available in small supplies in grades of MS67 or better, but these bring hefty premiums due to their small numbers and high demand from registry set collectors.
Obverse Description
Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse Description
Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
