1863 Two-Cent Piece. A numismatic delicacy; a novodel created in the 1870s. Of interest to two-cent piece specialists as well as pattern collectors.

Obverse: The regular Shield design dated 1863, with motto IN GOD WE TRUST in large letters as used in 1864 and 1873.

Reverse: The regular reverse design used from 1864 to 1873; this die with broken serif on the D in UNITED.
