Examples seen were gilt copper. 1852 Gold Dollar. Perforated at the center to permit a larger diameter coin than would otherwise be possible. Most of these are restrikes.
Obverse: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around, date 1852 below, with raised ring and ornaments within.
Reverse: DOLLAR above, open wreath below; same die as used for J-141.
