Obverse Description
Stars 8 and 13 are ½ mm. from cap and curl; Fork in curl above second 3 OBV. 12. S1LE, S7C-CHb, S8UH, S13LH. Stars show considerable detail but not really sharp. Date is 8 mm. 1 has a short serif and sharply higher than 8. Mouth slightly open. All stars are drawn to edge on all observed specimens.
Reverse Description
Second T in STATES below A at base, 0 level with 5 REV. N. A1LE, A2UE, A3UH. The third line of stripe 3 extends into crossbars and points to right hand of two dots located between crossbars 4 and 5. A short triangular top to 5 with a pronged end. 50 C. is 1 ¼ mm. A-A is ½ mm. I centered under T. This reverse was first used in 1832, Rev. I. (63,62,60,55,50) R.5
