Obverse Description
18 wider than 833, cap to curl filled OBV. 3. S1UE, S7LE-UHHb, S8C, S13C. Stars are mostly sharp, except star 8 which is very flat. Date is 7 ¾ mm. A few specimens show recutting on all stars on left and such specimens are considered scarce.
Reverse Description
Shield broken at corner REV. C. A1B, A2LE, A3UE. 50 C. is 1 ¼ mm. and high, with a very large 50 and 50 C. has been recut. Center line of stripe 3 extends sharply below shield and is pointed. A-A is ½ mm. The upper left corner of the shield is broken. Most, but not all, specimens show a die defect line from base of the 5 to milling. I is centered under T. Left and right edges of shield cross each other at base forming an X. Two small dots like centering dots between lines 3 and 4 near left edge of shield and about ¼ mm. apart. (68,65,65,64,64)
